At Lake Country Rentals we want your rental experience to be hassle and surprise-free. We believe transparency is the key to building customer trust. We make these policies available so that you can review at your convenience, make informed decisions about renting with us and so that you understand the basic terms of your rental before you arrive.

RESERVATIONS, PAYMENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT

Rental units are not considered reserved until a credit card has been provided. All rentals must be paid in full on the day of pickup. A valid credit card is required for the security deposit. Security deposit is $1500.00 per rental unit. We take cash, E-transfer, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for payment.

CANCELLATION

Bookings may be cancelled and are fully refundable in the form of a gift card provided a minimum of 48 hours of notice has been provided. Alternate arrangements or refunds are at the discretion of Lake Country Rentals.

OPTIONAL COLLISION POLICY

The Customer shall pay $25.00 per day premium for collision insurance at the time the rental agreement is signed for each unit of equipment rented. The premium is not returnable. The insurance covers damage or loss of the equipment listed in the rental agreement. The insurance deductible, in the event of a claim, is $1500.00. Collision insurance does not cover damages to third party property or persons. In the event there are damages, the security deposit will be withheld until an itemized repair bill is presented to the customer. If the costs of damages are less than the security deposit then the security deposit will be credited to the customer upon termination of the rental agreement, less the cost of damages. If the costs of damages exceed the security deposit, then the security deposit will be withheld as the deductible and the customer will bear no further costs for the damages or loss.
